Meme Collision Produces 2D Code Stencils
An interesting article suggesting QR Codes could become the modern day convergence of “hobo signs” [symbols hobos used to leave to identify if people were friendly etc.], and “warchalking” [symbols left by people to indicate open or unsecure wireless networks to use]. The site mentioned in the article have produced a series of codes for all situations, thought it requires laser cut stencils, spray cans and possibly some running too. Good article and an interesting, possibly inspirational, spin on QR code use.
This is a more public/less moral version of the concept I posted before, about Join a Wi-Fi network by snapping a QR Code.
